About Me
Mother of 3, Author of A Home with Vision: The Heart Behind the Blog
Hello and welcome to A Home with Vision! Now it’s time to tell you more about me.
I’m Natalie, a homemaker who is passionate about God and family. Follow along as I share my experiences in my faith and real-life homemaking. I hope I can be an encouragement to you on your journey, and I pray you would grow in your faith.
Nothing I say here on my blog is meant to be authoritative because I am no expert. I’m simply sharing my experiences with you, hoping that it could encourage or inspire you. Always remember that just because I share something with you doesn’t mean it’s the right way or the only way. It may not work for you. Please take the help and inspiration you can, and what doesn’t help, just ignore.
I am still growing and learning. I don’t have it all together. But I truly believe we can learn from one another, even in our imperfections.
If we waited until we were flawless, we would never do anything for God, crippled by fear and never bearing any fruit.
About Me: The Purpose of A Home with Vision
One of the reasons I started this blog was to encourage other homemakers in their faith.
There is so much we could learn from each other if we would just listen attentively.
Just before starting this blog, my family faced the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make. We had to take a leap of faith and follow what God was so clearly directing us to do. A lot of life changes have taken place, but God is with us, and there is so much to be thankful for.
I have to remind myself not to be negative and focus on being content with what I have. I am striving to improve myself and my life little by little. I believe it’s easy for some people to confuse being content with being complacent, but I recognize the difference and never want to be content with staying in one place and not growing.
About Me: Things I like
What gives me the most satisfaction is having a thriving personal relationship with the Lord and serving my family well in every aspect. I always want to be learning how to serve better and strive for Godly perfection.
You might never know this about me by my lifestyle or my clothes, but deep down, I’m an old-fashioned lady from the 1900s.
I love playing piano! (There is nothing like playing a real piano!) And I love bicycle riding! Sewing and tailoring clothing is a lifelong dream of mine. I love coffee with turbinado sugar and cream. And I love raw milk and homemade kimchi.
Road to Avonlea is the best show I’ve ever seen! I don’t know why a show like that isn’t more popular.
One of my favorite Scriptures is, “And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.”- Jeremiah 29:13 If I hadn’t believed that Scripture years ago, I don’t know where I would be today!
Some of my favorite books are God’s Smuggler by Brother Andrew, God’s Smuggler to China by Brother David, The Heavenly Man by Brother Yun, The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom, 50 Years in the Church of Rome by Charles Chiniquy, and The Persecutor by Sergei Kourdakov.
Well, that’s enough about me. I would love to get to know you, too! Please subscribe and leave me a comment.

One more thing… please be patient and overlook any issues on my site. This website is brand new, and I’m still learning.
